Emergency Room Stories Told By A German Nurse
What is this blog about? – I have experienced thousand of situations with patients during my life as a German nurse in the emergency room. Some of them were funny, others simply interesting (science wise) and rewarding, and some of them frustrating and sad. Even though you would think most of them were life-threatening - they weren't.
This is why I want to share stories and thoughts about the emergency department and how doctors and nurses take the best possible care of their patients. I wish for my readers to understand the other side of the healthcare system. Healthcare professionals know both sides, the patient and the clinical side, but if you are not a clinician, then it is difficult to understand why things are the way they are.
